Before performing the alien crosstalk test, it is necessary to use the Fluke DSX series network cable testers (DSX2 - 8000 CH, DSX2 - 5000 CH) to conduct an automatic test on each cable in the cable bundle. The automatic test will tell you whether each cable can support the IEEE 802.3 10GBASE - T standard. It can also measure the insertion loss required by the AxTalk analyzer to calculate the pass/fail limits of PS ANEXT and PS AACR - F. PS ANEXT Interference Link Test.

The PS ANEXT interference link test is used to measure the amount of signal received by the wire pairs in another test cable at the near end, which is sent by the near-end transmitter. AxTalk can measure the alien near-end crosstalk of all 16 wire pair combinations between two cabling links within the frequency range of 1 to 500 MHz.

PS AACR - F Interference Link Test.

The PS AACR - F interference link test is used to measure the amount of signal received by the wire pairs in another test cable at the far end, which is sent by the near - end transmitter. AxTalk can measure the attenuation - based alien far - end crosstalk of all 16 wire pair combinations between two cabling links within the frequency range of 1 to 500 MHz.
