Notic:
1, Wiring Planning and Design
> Information point setting: Reasonably set information points according to actual needs. For example, the master bedroom can be equipped with two information points so that two people can operate the computer simultaneously; Other bedrooms and living rooms can be equipped with an information point; In the hidden areas of the middle and front and rear balconies of the residence, 2-3 information points can be set up to facilitate the installation of wireless network access devices in the future.
> Location of information socket: When selecting the location of the information socket, ensure that it is convenient to use and not obstructed by furniture, while maintaining privacy. In the dormitory, information sockets can be placed on both sides of the bed; In the living room, one end of the sofa can be located near the window; In the study, it should be close to the desk, and the vertical distance between the information outlet and the floor should not be less than 20 centimeters.
2, Network cable selection and connection
> Network cable connection method: It should follow the EIA/TIA 568B or EIA/TIA 568A standards. Direct lines are used for connecting network cards and switches, as well as optical transceiver modules and switches; Crossover cables are used for connecting network cards to each other and hubs to each other. When making network cables, they must be connected according to standard specifications to ensure the normal operation of the network.
> Cable length and bending: When wiring, pay attention to the cable length and bending radius. The maximum transmission distance of Category 5e Ethernet cables is usually 100 meters, and exceeding this distance may cause signal attenuation. At the same time, under non heavy pressure conditions, the bending radius of the network cable should not be less than 8 times the diameter of the cable to ensure stable signal transmission.
3, Gathering device and power supply settings
> Location of the gathering device: The gathering device should be placed in a well ventilated and concealed place, avoiding installation in damp, water sensitive, and electromagnetic interference prone areas.
> Power setting: The hub device requires power supply, so when decorating, it is necessary to reserve a power interface for the hub device.
4, Interference and Protection
> Electromagnetic interference: Twisted pair cables and computers should be kept at a distance from washing machines, refrigerators, air conditioners, fans, etc. to avoid affecting the signals in the twisted pair cables.
5, Testing and Acceptance
> Line testing: After the wiring is completed, professional testing instruments should be used to test the lines to ensure that the connectivity and transmission speed of each line meet the design requirements.
> Acceptance criteria: During acceptance, relevant standards and specifications should be followed to ensure that the wiring quality meets the design requirements.
